Does deffered adjudication for a speeding ticket affect background checks.?

I got a ticket last month. I was going to fight the ticket based on the name being wrong. The prosecutor changed it but I since I asked for a court date before it was corrected I had to keep the court date. So I asked the Judge for deferred adjudication for the ticket. Is this considered a cl c misdemeanor now? Or just an infraction?
