Severely confused on how to tell him I like him. Help!?

I ended a fling about six months ago. I like him again. We used to hang out but things ended kind fo weird after a drunken hookup(not ). He asked me what we were and i told him I couldn't go out with him cause I didnt want to date someone that I work with. In actuality, I had some personal issues and I was embarred of how things went down. Now that time has ped, we flirt at work. I had feelings for him, and now they have came back. How do I start it back up? I have a feeling he still likes me. Should I just be honest and tell him, or slowly work into it? Should I just tell him how I feel straight up or is that weird? If you can tell I'm indecisive and confused. Help please!
