How to make a cello sound better?

hi i am a cellist and poeple have been telling me that my cello sounds bad is there some sories that i can add to my cello to make it sound better and more clear i ahve a full size musino cello please only cellist answer this question don't give dumb comments or a web link (only if you ahve3 to) thanks for all your help
