Why is it we choose to argue instead of explain.?

Though I am no Christian I agree with you on the important part. It is hard to represent a God of love and charity when one uses hate. And even for those of us who do not agree, instead of attacking another's believes why don't we just explain our own. That way instead of perpetuating the stereotype of the "Angry Atheist" or "judgmental Pagan" our Christian friends can understand WHY we believe or don't believe as we do and at the very least accept out choices as our own.
