Whats up with this girl????

There is this girl that I work with we went out on one date and it went really good... so we had set up another one and we had the day picked out but we left it that for the night. so the next day I was busy and never got around to texting her or talking to her, but the next day at work people where like : you got some comp" I guess she was talking to some new guy from work.... so I said " I dont care she can talk to who she wants" ( she no longer talks to the guy it was only for 2 days or so) and I guess this got back to her so she never mentioned anything else about the date. but she still texts me and talks to me at work. (every one says we are firting) b ut i dont kow of i should ask her out again or not? what do you think?
