Championships or individual legacy? Which do NBA players want more?

Everybody is different, but if you are a superstar, you want a championship to validate your "greatness". However, if you are a a general NBA player with a non-superstar status (like Scott Williams, Craig Hodges, and Jud Buechler), I think that to them, being a part of a championship team is better than being a superstar without a championship. Of course I am sure that they would love to be a superstar that made $10's of millions more, but since that didn't happen, the championship, plus their measly couple of million, are the most important.
